Yes there is always food available in this country as the locals love to eat anywhere and at any time. But unlike the locals, who will make a four hour drive an all day affair, with many different stops for coffee, meals etc, I like to get from A to B pronto. So that often means eating on the run. Not very healthy I know, but this little sosej roll has kept my tummy from turning on me many a time. Simple, tasty and damn convenient!

KL Bucket List #2 Sosej Rol
We're on a roll! A sosej roll to be precise...
Yep, might sound strange, but this highly processed, probably not too appealing to look at food was on my KL bucket list. Reason being is that on the many, many hours I spent on the road in Malaysia for work, be it the drive to and from Penjom in the old days (2008-2012) or the last four years as a consultant for a cement project, I have done many tens of thousands of km's on Malaysia's roads.

Update: sadly I must report that this product seems to be no more. We spent four months in KL in 2019, and I always had one eye on the bread products in every store I entered, eager for the opportunity to sample a sosej rol again. Alas, none were to be found, making me think it is no longer available.
